Social Nexus

A sense of irregularity during the haunted COVID-19 crisis left all of us in a bottled up situation that brought emptiness and massive disconnect. This led to a strong urge to bond with humankind, which was made possible through these software. The primary function of a circuit board is to connect all the electronic components of a device in a compact space. The circuit board in my artwork shows my connection with society, through these applications. It associated me with the community virtually, keeping me updated and safe, helping me throughout the past few months.  The MDF board is laser-cut into a circuit pattern. Enamel paints are used as they provide a glossy texture which justifies the importance of these applications in my life. LED lights are fitted at the back of the board which can be switched on to get the final effect.
